Carmel Garments, the Kadaganchi unit of Carmel Garments Jagalur, experienced a momentous occasion on May 14, 2024, as it was grandly inaugurated. Reverend Fr. Stany Lobo, Vicar General of Gulbarga Diocese, graced the event, marking a significant milestone for the community.
The event commenced with a warm welcome extended by Fr. Deepak Thomas, followed by Fr. Sundeep Goveas honouring Fr. Stany with a shawl. Fr. William Miranda further embellished the ceremony by presenting a flower bouquet, symbolizing the flourishing of this new endeavour.
Following the cutting of the ceremonial ribbons by Fr. Stany and the bestowing of blessings upon the center, Carmel Garments Kadaganchi was officially inaugurated. The event was attended not only by esteemed clergy but also by the dedicated staff of Mount Carmel Kadaganchi and the women from the village.
