St. Mary’s Church in Hegdenagar, Bangalore, has a relatively short but impactful history.it is situated about 25kms away from the metropoitan city.this parish was the substation of Marianpalya and Byrathi.For many years the Carmelite Fathers have rendered thier spiritual ,social and other needs of the same.The church was established in 2000 to serve the growing Christian population in the Hegdenagar area. Initially, the church started in a small rented building, where a small group of devoted worshippers gathered for prayer and worship. Over time, as the congregation grew, there was a need for a larger space to accommodate the increasing number of worshippers.

In 2006, with the support and contribution of the local community, the foundation stone for a new church building was laid. Construction began, and in 2009, the new St. Mary’s Church was consecrated, providing a beautiful place of worship for the Christians in Hegdenagar. Since its establishment, St. Mary’s Church has become a vibrant hub for the Christian community in the area. It offers regular worship services, conducts religious education programs, and organizes various social and charitable activities aimed at making a positive impact on the lives of its members and the surrounding community. With each passing year, the church continues to grow in both the number of worshippers and its impact on the local community.
